EDITOR’S LETTER
In a recent survey by the CIO Insight magazine, close to 70% of enterprises ranked corporate agility as one of the most important business drivers. Agile processes not only mean speed and faster turnaround, but go deeper to ensure continuous improvements to minimize redundancy and waste. It also means real-time responsiveness via breaking down siloes and improved collaboration amongst stakeholders.
In keeping with our focus on diving deep into topics relating to Process Agility, we have a couple of interesting features for this edition. We’ve covered an infographic on Improving Procurement Efficiency and Vendor Transparency that highlights how technologies can improve these two processes.
This edition also carries a guest article from Carl Woche, the Managing Director of Merlynn Intelligence Technologies. He is considered as one of the pioneers in building technologies that enable human based reasoning within machine learning environments. Carl has shared some insights on AI and the role of human where he argues that the next major evolution in AI is very likely to be human experts in the form of scaling expertise, specifically decisioning.
