The rich experience that startups provide their people cannot be matched anywhere, said Srividya Kannan, Founder and Director, Avaali Solutions.

As the Indian economy moves towards positive territory, there is a wide optimism among startups for business revival. And when it comes to talent expansion strategy, there is a common perception that startups face a few challenges. However, industry leaders say this is not the case anymore.

Srividya Kannan, Founder and Director, Avaali Solutions, believes the rich experience that startups provide their people cannot be matched anywhere. She opines the talent-pool these days is very forward-looking and wants exciting opportunities, well-rounded learning and exposure to a variety of roles, different types of customers, as well as technologies.

“They also seem to have good family support, thanks to the increasing media coverage on startups as well as the government’s strong intention to promote startups. Startups are no longer considered risky to invest one’s career in; it is just the opposite,” she said.
