Hailing India’s first-ever Global Capability Centres (GCC) policy by a state, the industry has urged the Karnataka government to step up investment in “Beyond Bengaluru” cities to allow them to compete with the capital city.
Launched on September 27, the draft policy focuses on expanding GCC operations beyond Bengaluru to cities such as Mangaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi-Dharwad – Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Tumakuru and Shivamogga.
