Job Description:

We are in pursuit of a skilled and seasoned Master Data Management (MDM) Senior Consultant to bolster our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of MDM principles and methodologies, with a specific focus on orchestrating SAP master data operations. As the MDM Senior Consultant, you will take charge of our MDM endeavors, directing the team in implementing MDM solutions and ensuring the seamless execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead solution engineering, demonstrations, and proposal development for MDM opportunities.
• Define and enforce best practices for master data governance, data quality management, and data stewardship processes.
• Establish and oversee a team of MDM specialists to carry out MDM implementation projects effectively.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate business needs, and design MDM solutions in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Offer technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders across all stages of project development.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions to instil a deep understanding and adoption of MDM best practices within the team.
• Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices pertinent to MDM.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for MDM, providing strategic guidance, architectural insights, and implementation support to clients and internal teams.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the MDM team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Drive initiatives for continuous enhancement to optimize the efficiency and efficacy of MDM processes and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in MDM, with a focus on SAP Master Data, MDG, or Prospecta MDO.
• Proven track record in implementing various master data types such as Material, Spare Parts, Equipment, Functional Location, Bill of Material, etc.
• Proficient understanding of Material Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules within SAP.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in steering MDM projects from inception to completion, encompassing solution design, configuration, and implementation.
• Strong grasp of MDM concepts, principles, and industry best practices.
• Expertise in data modelling, data mapping, and data integration techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in a consulting environment is advantageous.
• Certifications in SAP MDG or Prospecta MDO are highly desirable.
